Junior Graphic Designer
About the job Junior Graphic Designer
Key Responsibilities
- Create high-quality visual content for social media platforms, including Meta and LinkedIn.
- Design digital advertising creatives, including Google Ads display formats.
- Develop basic presentations, marketing materials, and other branded content.
- Apply branding guidelines consistently across all creative materials, including typography, colors, layouts, and visual elements.
- Translate creative briefs and campaign objectives into effective visual designs.
- Understand the difference between awareness and conversion-focused creatives and adapt designs accordingly.
- Incorporate effective Calls-to-Action (CTAs) into designs when required.
- Create static social media content and basic motion graphics.
- Collaborate with the Marketing team to understand campaign requirements and deliver creative solutions.
- Make revisions based on feedback and ensure final designs meet quality standards.
- Manage multiple design requests while meeting deadlines and maintaining attention to detail.
- Use Canva for quick-turnaround design requirements when needed.
Job Requirements
Technical Skills
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly:
- Adobe Photoshop
- Adobe Illustrator
- Adobe InDesign is a plus
- Solid understanding of:
- Social media design
- Basic motion design
- Typography, color theory, and layout
- Branding fundamentals and visual consistency
- Experience designing:
- Social media creatives for Meta and LinkedIn
- Digital/display advertisements
- Presentations and marketing materials
Marketing Awareness
- Basic understanding of marketing concepts, including awareness vs. conversion-focused creatives.
- Understanding of how CTAs can support campaign objectives and design performance.
- Ability to interpret creative briefs and align designs with campaign goals.
Tools & Workflow
- Familiarity with Canva.
- Familiarity with project/task management tools such as Trello, Slack, or Asana.
- Strong time-management and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
Soft Skills
- High attention to detail.
- Strong creativity and visual sense.
- Openness to feedback and continuous learning.
- Good communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work effectively within a fast-paced Marketing team.
Experience & Education
- 1–2 years of relevant experience in graphic design.
- Experience creating social media and campaign-related designs.
- A portfolio showcasing real social media, digital advertising, and/or campaign work is required.
- Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Fine Arts, Visual Communication, or a related field is preferred.
