We are dedicated to delivering top-notch multimedia and interpretation services to our clients worldwide. We are seeking a skilled Localization Vendor Manager to join our dynamic team and play a crucial role in enhancing our vendor partnerships.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify, recruit, and onboard qualified vendors specializing in multimedia and interpretation services, ensuring they meet our quality, reliability, and turnaround time standards.
- Build and maintain a robust vendor supply chain capable of handling a diverse range of multimedia and interpretation requests, from video/audio projects to live interpretation assignments.
- Foster strong relationships with vendors to ensure smooth collaboration, optimize performance, and resolve any issues that may arise during projects.
- Negotiate vendor agreements, rates, and terms of service that align with our business objectives while maintaining competitive pricing.
- Collaborate closely with the quality assurance team to evaluate vendor performance, ensuring adherence to project specifications, deadlines, and quality standards.
- Forecast and manage vendor capacity to ensure availability for ongoing and future multimedia and interpretation projects.
- Work with internal teams to integrate vendors into our project management systems, ensuring they have the necessary tools and resources to meet project needs.
- Continuously assess the vendor pool and implement strategies to enhance performance, reduce costs, and streamline operations.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience in vendor management in the multimedia and interpretation sectors.
- Strong understanding of the multimedia and interpretation landscape, including various media formats, technologies, and market trends.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across internal teams and external vendors.
- Proven ability to negotiate contracts, manage vendor relationships, and secure favorable terms.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple vendors and projects simultaneously.
- Familiarity with multimedia production tools, interpretation platforms, and vendor management software is a plus.
- Ability to quickly identify issues, develop solutions, and implement improvements in vendor performance.
