About the Job:

The Team Lead of business Development is responsible for guiding a team of Business Development Specialists in developing new business relationships and enhancing support for existing clients. This role requires a strategic mindset, excellent leadership skills, and a strong understanding of the translation industry.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and Mentor: Oversee and support a team of Business Development Specialists, providing coaching, training, and performance feedback to ensure team success.
  • Strategic Growth Planning: Develop and implement growth strategies focused on financial gain, market expansion, and customer satisfaction.
  • Pipeline Management: Ensure the team builds and maintains an active pipeline of potential clients and opportunities.
  • Revenue Accountability: Monitor team performance to achieve assigned revenue quotas and set ambitious but achievable targets.
  • Market Research: Guide the team in conducting thorough research to identify new markets, customer needs, and competitive landscape.
  • Client Communication: Establish effective communication protocols for team outreach to potential clients via phone calls, emails, and meetings.
  • Relationship Building: Foster long-term relationships with new and existing customers, ensuring high levels of client satisfaction.
  • Sales Contract Oversight: Review and ensure adherence to law-established rules and guidelines in sales contracts prepared by the team.
  • Quote Management: Supervise the preparation of quotes for customers and lead follow-up efforts to convert quotes into projects.
  • Sales Reporting: Maintain accurate records of sales activities, revenue, and client interactions, utilizing CRM software.
  • After-Sales Support: Provide leadership in delivering trustworthy feedback and after-sales support to clients.
  • Cross-Department Collaboration: Work closely with the Marketing team to ensure relevant and up-to-date materials are available for sales efforts.
  • Presentations and Demonstrations: Lead on-site and remote presentations to potential clients, highlighting Bayantech's unique differentiators and value propositions.
  • Industry Trends Monitoring: Stay informed about industry trends and customer drivers, regularly discussing strategy with management and stakeholders.
  • Representation at Events: Represent Bayantech at trade shows, expositions, and conferences to promote services and network with potential clients.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a business development executive, preferably in the translation industry, with leadership experience.
  • Demonstrated success in translation and localization sales or business development.
  • Strong B2B sales track record with experience in closing new business.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software (e.g., HubSpot).
  • Excellent proficiency in English.
  • Strong market knowledge and understanding of industry trends.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Effective time management and planning abilities.
  • Highly organized, self-motivated, and proactive with a can-do attitude.
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, sales, or a relevant field.
  • Experience with data analysis, forecasting, and budgeting.
