Responsibilities:

  • Develop detailed project plans, including scope, objectives, timeline, and resource allocation.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including linguists, engineers, and vendors, to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Oversee the budget and financial aspects of projects, including cost tracking, invoicing, and financial reporting.
  • Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure project success.
  • Provide regular status updates to clients and internal stakeholders, addressing any issues or concerns promptly.
  • Conduct thorough quality assurance checks to ensure project deliverables meet the highest standards.
  • Mentor and provide guidance to junior project managers, fostering a collaborative and supportive team environment.
  • Stay current with industry trends and best practices in localization and project management.
  • Continuously evaluate and improve project management processes and tools to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Manage key client relationships, ensuring high levels of client satisfaction and identifying opportunities for account growth.
  • Facilitate effective communication between clients and internal teams, ensuring alignment on project goals and expectations.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in localization project management.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing complex and large-scale localization projects.
  • Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and leadership skills.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and software.
  • Ability to work effectively in a multi-language/multi-cultural environment.
  • Strong problem-solving capabilities and attention to detail.
  • Experience in budget management and financial reporting.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build and maintain positive client relationships.
  • Experience in mentoring and developing junior project managers.
  • Knowledge of industry trends and best practices in localization and project management.
