Senior Lab Analyst

As a skilled hands on analyst, organise the shift activities and development needs for the routine QC analysis of raw materials, intermediates, and finished products. All work is undertaken in a lab environment, working in a small team.

Accountabilities

• Coordinate shift activiites, team and member development in accordance with laboratory plans.
• Undertake routine testing of all material samples as required.
• Ensure laboratory equipment is calibrated and maintained.
• Ensure lab consumables stocks are maintained to budget levels.
• Ensure timely entry of test results.

Knowledge of chemistry either gained through academic study of on the job training
