Mid Data Scientist

bards.ai team is engaged in conducting research projects, performing analysis and producing software that includes machine learning. We are oriented towards working with clients in need of an external R&D team. We are looking for an employee for the position of Data Scientist, where his/her task will be to conduct EDA, develop machine learning models or solutions using newest AI developments (like OpenAI API's), work related to model deployment (Dockerization, creation of a database, simple REST interface, etc.) and results analysis.

Requirements:

• Practical experience in Python, particularly in data science and machine learning libraries (PyTorch, PyTorch Lightning, Huggingface, Scikit-learn)
• Ability to autonomously plan and execute tasks, focusing on the achievement of business objectives
• B.Sc./M.A/M.Sc. degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Math, Statistics or other equivalents fields
• 2 years as Data Scientist - a background with ML concepts and models.
• Familiarity with using LLMs and effective prompting techniques
• Ability to process data using Numpy, Pandas or visualization tools
• Familiarity with Docker
• Experience with vector databases
• Foundational skills in database management and data retrieval for data analysis
• Teamwork skills and good communication
• Communicative English

Nice to have:

• Experience working with OpenAI models or other LLMs
• Keeping up to date with the latest developments/models of AI
• Knowledge of backend frameworks (Django/Fast APIs)
