Job Title: Email Developer (Part-Time to Full-Time, 100% Remote)

Location: Remote (Candidates from South America preferred)

About the Role:
Our client is seeking a skilled Email Developer to take ownership of email development tasks as part of a staff augmentation engagement. This role will start with 10-20 hours per week, with the potential to grow into a full-time position based on performance. The individual will be responsible for creating well-coded email templates designed to bypass email server filters and avoid spam flagging. The ideal candidate has experience in email development best practices, HTML/CSS coding for emails, and an understanding of deliverability optimization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and optimize responsive email templates that adhere to industry best practices.
  • Ensure email templates comply with deliverability guidelines to prevent spam flagging.
  • Test and troubleshoot email campaigns across different email clients and devices.
  • Work closely with marketing and development teams to refine email designs and functionality.
  • Stay updated on email development trends, spam regulations, and industry standards.
  • Develop and customize email templates within Pardot and Salesforce.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in email development, including HTML and CSS for emails.
  • Knowledge of email deliverability best practices and spam filter avoidance techniques.
  • Familiarity with email marketing platforms (e.g., Mailchimp, SendGrid, HubSpot, etc.).
  • Experience working with Pardot and Salesforce email templates.
  • Ability to test and debug emails across multiple email clients (Gmail, Outlook, Apple Mail, etc.).
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently in a remote setting.
  • Fluency in English is preferred.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with AMP for email, interactive email elements, or dynamic content.
  • Knowledge of Litmus or Email on Acid for email testing.
  • Understanding of GDPR, CAN-SPAM, and other email compliance regulations.
  • Experience with WordPress CMS along with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
