Job Title: Welding QC Supervisor

Job Description:

The Welding QC Supervisor is responsible for overseeing welding quality control activities, ensuring compliance with project Quality Control Plans, Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs), and applicable industry standards. The role supports the Quality Control Manager/Coordinator in monitoring welding inspections, material traceability, documentation, testing, and Non-Conformance Report (NCR) management to ensure the highest quality standards throughout project execution.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise welding inspection activities and verify implementation of Quality Control Plans.
  • Ensure materials, consumables, equipment, and measuring instruments are properly received, stored, calibrated, identified, and traceable.
  • Monitor welding inspections, tests, and NDT activities, ensuring compliance with approved procedures and quality requirements.
  • Review inspection reports, quality records, and project documentation for accuracy and completeness.
  • Support qualification and assessment of inspection personnel and subcontractors.
  • Manage quality documentation and ensure proper inclusion in final handover and As-Built dossiers.
  • Verify effective NCR management and corrective action implementation.
  • Coordinate QC activities and personnel allocation on project sites and offshore vessels when required.

What are we looking for?

Education: Master's Degree/bachelor's degree

Experience: 10 to 15 years in the in the Inspector and NDT Check task

Languages: English Language skills required (and any other specified by Project)

  • CSWIP 3.1
  • Magnetic Particle Test (MT) ISO 9712 LEVEL 2 or PCN Level 2
  • Ultrasonic Test (UT) ISO 9712 LEVEL 2 or PCN Level 2 (3.1, 3.2. 3.8 3.9, Butt Welds in plate , Butt welds in pipe, T Joint Welds , Nozzle Welds, Node Welds)
  • Liquid Penetrate Inspections (LP) ISO 9712 or PCN Level 2
  • Some experienced in Offshore Heavy Lifting vessel
