Job Description:

  • Supervise and monitor, with full autonomy, electrical and electronic equipment installed on board
  • Monitor and control supervising on-board electrical/electronic equipment according with safety procedures
  • Define maintenance work setting priorities and proposing maintenance schedule
  • Propose to the Chief Engineer the required quantity of material stock levels, in order to maintain work continuity
  • Supervise the carrying out of work activities in compliance to safety procedures and practices
  • Ensure the efficiency of the electrical/electronic equipment
  • Coordinate the electrical team for ordinary and extraordinary maintenance
  • Act as focal point for cyber security matters
  • Ensure compliance with the cyber security model established by the Company and with the applicable standards, where applicable as per Organization Chart

Experience:

  • Previous experience as First Electrician or Chief Electrician onboard Heavy lift and/or Construction vessels.
  • Experience with K-Chief and K-POS
  • FMEA trail management experience
  • Knowledge and skills to operate an Amos maintenance system
  • Experience managing a team of 10 or more people
