Mission

  • Arrange personnel arrivals and departures in line with the roster defined by Management and assign accommodation.
  • Support the administration of personnel on board.
  • Liaise with travel and marine agencies regarding personnel logistics and travel arrangements.
  • Where required, support the Master/OIM in training and certificate management.

Tasks

  • Manage crew changes.
  • Update and maintain the personnel roster assigned to the vessel in line with instructions from the offshore management team.
  • Plan and record personnel arrivals and departures by helicopter and crew change boats for all companies onboard.
  • Verify personnel documentation for pre-embarkation purposes and assist in the preparation of the Crew List.
  • Issue badges to new personnel in accordance with ISPS requirements.
  • Prepare daily reports on POB, shifts, muster lists, daily meals, helicopter crew lists and look-ahead plans for relevant parties.
  • Record personnel attendance/absence (overtime, sickness, holidays, etc.) and hours of work/rest in line with company procedures.
  • Manage cash advances within the limits defined by the Master.
  • Liaise with Catering regarding room cleaning and meal arrangements.
  • Manage personnel lockers onboard.
  • Issue requests for hotel accommodation and transportation bookings.
  • Coordinate immigration and emigration formalities with the marine agency and the Master/OIM.
  • Where required, update the Vessel Training and Certification Matrix and liaise with internal or external training providers and certification departments.
  • Act as the focal point for training booking requests and certificate applications in line with vessel management instructions.
