Hydraulic Engineer (Drillship)

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Hydraulic Engineer to support offshore drilling operations on board a Drillship. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting and repairing hydraulic systems critical to safe and efficient drilling operations.

Key Responsibilities

Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on hydraulic systems and equipment.
Diagnose and resolve hydraulic faults affecting drilling and marine operations.
Maintain hydraulic pumps, motors, valves, cylinders, accumulators and associated control systems.
Carry out inspections and testing to ensure equipment reliability and compliance with maintenance schedules.
Read and interpret hydraulic schematics, technical drawings and maintenance documentation.
Coordinate repairs with other technical departments to minimize operational downtime.
Ensure all maintenance activities are performed in accordance with HSE procedures and company standards.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Hydraulic Engineer on Drillships and/or Semi-Submersible units.
Strong knowledge of hydraulic systems used on offshore drilling equipment.
Experience in troubleshooting, maintenance and repair of hydraulic equipment.
Ability to read hydraulic drawings and technical documentation.
Good English communication skills.
