Steel Structural Carpenter / 19.02

MISSION

• Ensure the performance of structural steel fabrication and erection following Foreman instructions and in accordance with safety and quality standards

TASKS

• Perform structural steel fabrication and erection activities in accordance with safety and quality requirements
• Follow daily instructions given by Foreman
• Ensure structural steel fabrication and erection is carried out according to approved fabrication, erection and assembly drawings
• Verify the equipment, tools and materials are in good and safe operating conditions and report any anomalies to Foreman
• Ensure coordination with the adjacent works to minimize co-activities and avoid unsafe conditions
• Follow the permit-to-work statement
• Ensure the housekeeping of the work location

REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum 8 years of experience in the position
• Experience with welding application 3-5 years and above
• Knowledge of Manual SMAW/FCAW welding process
• Knowledge of Cutting and trimming applications (cold and hot cutting)
• Knowledge of Oxyacetilen cutting, Plasma cutting application
• Knowledge of Milling, turner, lathe machine application
• Knowledge of Drilling application
• Work experience with the following
  • Isometric,
  • Bevel designs,
  • Fittings
  • Torquering
  • Steel fabrication and erection
  • Lifting and rigging operations
  • Installation and assembly
• Work experience with the following materials
  • Carbon steel flow-line
  • Clad
  • Iconel 625/825
  • Stainless steel 314L, 316L
• Experience proven on pipeline scope onshore and offshore
• Experience proven for Heavy Fabrication yards, Refinery, Power Plant
• Experience proven for shipyards, offshore Jacket Installation, Wind Farm Installation,
• Experience proven for Deck, Conductors, Pilling, Boat Landing installation
