We are looking for professionals for the position of ELECTRICAL ENGINEER CABLES OFFSHORE WIND
Electrical engineer working with power cables for project development & execution growing offshore wind portfolio.
Task and responsibilities
- Electrical power cable engineering tasks in one or more offshore wind projects:
- Follow-up the electrical discipline scope internally in projects and towards study or FEED Contractor
- Handle relevant engineering matters related to the electrical discipline - Ensure alignment within the electrical
discipline
- Ensure experience transfer to and from the project
- Ensure alignment with Equinor’s discipline line organisation
- Ensure integration and coordination with other project disciplines
- Support discipline tasks across contract boarders
- Participate in discipline and multidiscipline reviews
- Identify and contribute to closing of technical uncertainties
- Contribute with clarifications related to electrical discipline
Competence Requirements
- Master of Science or Bachelor of Science within electrical
- Minimum 5 years’ relevant experience from project execution, preferably including early phase and concept development
- Experience with electrical power cables
- Experience from offshore wind projects is preferred
- Good competence and experience with electrical systems development in projects
- HSE training in accordance with Company recommendations
- Multi-discipline understanding - Good knowledge of rules/regulations, standards and preferably Company’s technical requirements within electrical discipline
- Ability to work in a team
- High ethical standards and adherence to Company's ethical requirements
- Ability to handle high work loads
