We are seeking an experienced Senior Dive System Technician - Electrical to join our team. The candidate must have:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Dive System Technician, including work as a Saturation Dive Technician.
  • Expertise in the maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of electrical systems within dive equipment.
  • Proficiency in working with underwater life support systems and ensuring their functionality and safety.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, circuits, and components, along with diagnostic tools and schematics interpretation.
  • Effective communication and problem-solving skills, with great attention to detail.
    


Inspection and Maintenance:

    • Conduct routine inspections of electrical components within dive systems.
    • Perform preventive maintenance to ensure equipment reliability and longevity.
    • Identify and address potential issues before they become major problems.

Repair and Troubleshooting:

    • Diagnose and repair electrical malfunctions in dive systems.
    • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to wiring, connectors, sensors, and other electrical components.
    • Collaborate with the broader technical team to address complex problems.

Testing and Calibration:

    • Conduct electrical testing to verify the proper functioning of components.
    • Calibrate sensors, controllers, and other electronic systems to meet safety and performance standards.

Documentation:

    • Maintain detailed records of inspections, maintenance, and repairs performed.
    • Document any modifications or upgrades to electrical systems.

Collaboration:

    • Work closely with other technicians, engineers, and dive system specialists to ensure seamless integration of electrical components.
    • Provide input for system improvements and modifications.

Safety Compliance:

    • Adhere to established safety protocols and guidelines.
    • Ensure that all electrical components meet industry safety standards.


  1. Education:
    • High school diploma or equivalent.
    • Technical certification or degree in electrical engineering, electronics, or a related field
  2. Experience:
    • Proven experience as an electrical technician, preferably with expertise in diving or similar life support systems.
    • Familiarity with underwater electrical components is highly desirable.
  3. Skills:
    • Strong understanding of electrical systems, circuits, and components.
    • Proficient in using diagnostic tools and equipment.
    • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and technical documentation.
  4. Communication:
    • Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and convey technical information clearly.
