The Offshore Survey Engineer will be responsible for the planning, execution, and coordination of offshore survey operations, including data acquisition and processing. The role also involves coordination with engineering teams and survey subcontractors to ensure the successful delivery of survey data and support offshore construction activities.

Degree in Hydrography or a related field.

Offshore construction survey experience is mandatory.

Proven experience in:

Seabed scanning and post-construction surveys on jackets, cables, and subsea pipelines.

Data acquisition in geophysical, geotechnical, ROV, and survey operations.

Offshore construction, including jackets, pipelines, and float-over installations.

Specialized training or proficiency in:

GIS
-
Data processing
-
AutoCAD
-
Microsoft Office Suite

Experience coordinating survey teams both offshore and office-based.

Knowledge of survey support for ongoing projects and bid/tender preparation.

Support survey coordination between multiple active projects and bids.

Determine survey and positioning methodologies, accuracy requirements, and limitations.

Plan and manage offshore survey operations and sub-contractors.

Define and review technical documentation, including engineering and survey procedures.

Prepare and manage survey budgets, equipment requirements, and procurement requests.

Supervise offshore and office-based survey personnel.
-
Ensure the delivery of high-quality survey data, reports, and as-built documentation.

Act as the primary point of contact for clients and offshore survey teams.

Maintain oversight of all survey-related activities, timelines, and deliverables.

Implement quality control on all survey operations and outputs.
-
Prepare and manage survey-related documentation and procedures.
-
Review and approve sub-contractor reports and operations.

Monitor and report progress of survey activities.
-
Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, and quality procedures.

Contribute to tendering and commercial processes by evaluating survey requirements and budgets.

Keep abreast of new technologies and industry practices in offshore surveying.
