Site Technician / Offshore Wind Poland

Requirements:

• Recommended 3 to 5 years of documented experience in construction, preferably offshore activities in large scale wind farm projects.
• Technically strong, adaptable. Works well in teams with strong communication skills.
• Good English skills both writing and verbal.
• Full GWO Certification and Offshore Medical.

Job description:

• Ensure the highest of HSE standards are being implemented.
• Actively participate in safety drills.
• Report any safety hazards, incidents or near misses immediately to Lead site technician.
• Attend Daily toolbox talks and shift debrief.
• Assist in mobilisation and demobilisation of equipment and resources as required.
• Perform daily inspections of equipment and tools to ensure they are in good working condition.
• Inspections, repairs and replacement of latchway systems (Fall arrests)
• Removal of waste from structures and sort it as per waste category.
• Cleaning of offshore structures for bird guano (Bird Droppings)
• Check of Davit Crane and the crane equipment.
• Check, Maintain and replace any damaged items on offshore structures such as gate pins, latches, etc.
• Walkdowns/Handover inspection on TPs
• Inspection and certification of hook-on points.
• Maintenance and replacement of defective fall-arrestors.
• Escort duties
• Ad-hoc tasks (Both onshore and offshore).
• Provide the Offshore Site Manager with Daily Report of tasks completed.
