Mission

Ensure the correct operation of rig's hydraulic equipment by following preventive maintenance system, performing routine inspections, monitoring spare parts and coordinating his crew to carry out activities complying to Quality and HSE procedures
and practices

Tasks
Be safety minded during in all works and behaviours, use compulsory protective equipment and ensure the same for subordinates
Carry out own duties according to the Emergency Preparedness Action Plan
Ensure that before any maintenance activity is started, a proper risk evaluation is carried out, precautions are taken and the work permit is signed
Ensure that before any work on high pressure system is started, a proper investigation is carried out, precautions are taken and the work permit is signed
Attend safety meetings and conduct special safety meetings with mechanic crew whenever necessary
Be well-informed about all relevant work and safety procedures issued by Company and the Operator, applying them and promoting their implementation
Promptly report any safety hazard, accident, near-miss accident and non-conformance through proper channels
Monitor and prevent oil spills from hydraulic operated equipment, power related equipment as well as drilling mechanical related equipment and repair the equipment immediately in accordance with superior instructions
Carry good housekeeping in own working area
Instruct all personnel assigned to him of their duties and responsibilities and of any special safety and environmental precaution to be taken prior to start up any work
Perform routine maintenance controls of the mechanical equipment and devices as per AMOS Work orders and provide for
preventive, routine and non-routine, maintenance and repair of internal combustion engines, pumps, compressors and drilling related equipment of the rig in accordance with superior instructions
Fulfill reporting routines and ensure the same is fulfilled by subordinates
Be well-informed about all the classification society and authorities rules and regulation applicable to own area of responsibility
Ensure that the stock level of spare parts and consumables for the drilling equipment is kept at an appropriate level and in
good condition by timely requesting the equipment whenever deemed necessary
