Objective:

Qualifications:

  • Recommended 5 to 8 years of documented experience within construction management, preferable Offshore activities in large scale wind farm projects, including recommended 5 to
    8 years of documented leadership experience
  • Technically strong, adaptable, works well in teams, strong communication abilities)
  • Good English skills both writing and verbal 


Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure health and safety for all activities offshore
    during the Execution phase. 
  • Ensure implementation of the HSSE plan onsite, and to establish a safety culture amongst all involved parties.
  • Ensure proactive management, good cooperation, coordination, communication and securing of interfaces within Offshore Site Organisation ensuring all offshore activities are aligned with the installation asset, scope of work, deliverables, reporting and agreed time schedules.
  • To ensure documentation, recording and following up of overall Offshore installation activities.
  • Manage and secure maintenance and organisational setup of offshore installed assets in the interim period prior to handover.
  • Ensure that Lessons Learnt and Best Practice are implemented.
  • Participate in Tender process for ensuring compliancy with Offshore Site requirements.

Major Tasks:

  • Management of Offshore Construction activities.
  • Prepare technical procurement documentation, Employers Requirements, processes and supporting documentation for Construction Package logistics.
  • Ensure preparation of overall offshore installation program and sequence in accordance with the project plan.
  • Prepare, communicate and implement overall Resource Allocation Plan in relation to offshore installation activities.
  • Implement Offshore Site Management Manual, including organisation, roles and responsibilities, meeting structure, KPI's, plans and procedures.
  • Support T&I Managers in required T&I scopes.
  • Input to Regulatory and Engineering team for the consenting process.
  • Coordinate the construction base harbour setup for personnel logistics.
  • Ensure development of Internal Handover System for overall Offshore Construction assets for safe transfer to Commissioning/O&M.
  • Prepare OMS (Offshore Management System) including Work Authorisation and Custody handling.
  • Select location and setup for construction MCC (Marine Coordination Center).
  • Participate in handling the handover to O&M, including any post construction works.
  • Establishment and chairing of an efficient governance and meeting structures for the offshore installation activities.
  • Report, follow up and communicate (day-to-day, weekly, monthly) HSSE, progress, risks and results to Construction
  •  Project Manager and EPC, supported by analysis and potential corrective actions when required.
  • Manage and develop Construction Team (Site Managers, Marine Manger, MCC staff, Harbour Supervisor, Site admins etc. under own scope).
