Job Title: Senior Electrical Engineer

JOB DESCRIPTION AND REQUIREMENTS

Experience in detailed engineering, FEED engineering and specialized in engineering department / design engineers

Expert in ETAP & PSCAD software for Oil & Gas Projects

We are looking for 5+ years of experienced Electrical Power system studies Engineer with proven experience in the system studies using ETAP & PSCAD software for Oil & Gas Projects (Experience in Engineering Consultancy).



Duties and Responsibilities;

  • Hands on experience on using ETAP Software to perform Power system studies for Detailed engineering.
  • Hands-on experience using PSCAD to perform system analysis and insulation coordination studies.
  • Hands on experience to Perform the following Power system studies such as :
  1. Power System Study
  2. Transient Stability Study
  3. Insulation Coordination and Switching Analysis
  4. System Grounding and Shielding Study
  5. Protective Relaying Settings and Coordination Study
  6. Arc Flash Safety Assessment
  7. Ferro-resonance Study
  8. Islanding and Load Shedding Study
  • Review of Electrical engineering design deliverables such as Load List, SLD, Cable sizing, Equipment sizing, Cable and conduit schedule, etc.
  • Prepare Purchase Requisitions and Conduct Technical Bid Evaluations for main electrical equipment
  • Prepare ETAP & PSCAD Power system studies reports as per Saudi Aramco standards.
  • Interpretation and implementation of IEEE/ANSI & IEC standards.

  • Qualifications;

    Minimum Bachelors degree in Electrical engineering.

    Key Skills & Technical Competencies

    Must be a reliable Engineer who can work independently
  • Must be proficient in reviewing design calculations/drawings
  • Knowledge of Saudi Aramco standards is an advantage.
  • Able to Prepare Purchase Requisitions and Conduct Technical Bid Evaluations for electrical equipment
  • Must have excellent knowledge & understanding of Design practices, Construction Practices and Procedures

Must be proficient in English; oral and written communication.
