Chief Officer / Drillship

We are looking for an experienced Chief Officer to join modern deepwater drillships operating on international offshore drilling projects.

The Chief Officer is responsible for supporting the Master in the safe and efficient operation of the vessel, overseeing marine operations, cargo and ballast management, stability, deck maintenance and emergency preparedness. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining compliance with international maritime regulations, company procedures and the highest safety standards.

Requirements

Previous experience as Chief Officer on board a drillship
Valid STCW II/2 Certificate of Competency
DP experience and DP certification will be considered an advantage
Strong knowledge of marine operations, ballast control and stability management
Experience supervising deck crews and coordinating marine activities
Good understanding of ISM, SOLAS, MARPOL and international maritime regulations
Excellent communication and leadership skills
Valid offshore certification package
