Offshore Installation Manager (OIM) / Drillship

We are currently seeking an experienced Offshore Installation Manager (OIM) to join international offshore drilling projects on modern deepwater drillships.

The Offshore Installation Manager is responsible for the overall safe and efficient operation of the drilling unit, ensuring full compliance with company procedures, client requirements and international offshore regulations. The role requires strong leadership, operational expertise and the ability to coordinate all onboard departments while maintaining the highest standards of health, safety and environmental performance.

Requirements

Previous experience as Offshore Installation Manager (OIM) on board a drillship
Extensive offshore drilling experience in deepwater operations
Valid IWCF Well Control Certificate (Supervisor Level)
Strong leadership and people management skills
Thorough understanding of HSE, emergency response and regulatory compliance
Experience managing multidisciplinary offshore teams
Valid offshore certification package
