Job Title: Electronic Engineer

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Electronic Engineer to join our offshore fleet supporting some of the industry's most advanced heavy lifting, pipelay, and subsea construction vessels.

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting onboard electronic, electrical, automation, communication, and control systems, ensuring the safe and efficient operation of mission-critical assets used in complex offshore construction projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance, fault finding, and repair of onboard electronic and electrical systems.
• Support vessel automation, PLC, instrumentation, telecommunications, and control systems.
• Monitor and maintain power generation and distribution equipment.
• Execute preventive and corrective maintenance activities in accordance with maintenance plans.
• Ensure compliance with HSE, Permit to Work, and electrical safety procedures.
• Manage spare parts requirements and maintain maintenance records and technical documentation.
• Support emergency response activities and contribute to vessel operational readiness.

Requirements

• Degree or Diploma in Electronic Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Automation Engineering, Telecommunications, or equivalent.
• Previous offshore, marine, oil & gas, or heavy industrial maintenance experience.
• Strong troubleshooting skills on electronic, electrical, automation, and communication systems.
• Knowledge of PLCs, instrumentation, data networks, and industrial control systems.
• Good command of English and ability to work in a multicultural offshore environment.

• Heavy Lift Vessels
• Pipelay Vessels
• Subsea Construction Vessels
• Dynamic Positioning (DP) systems
• AMOS or other CMMS platforms
• Offshore telecommunications and IT infrastructure
• Fire & Gas systems and vessel automation technologies.
