About the job Operations Manager
Our client is a luxury full-buy-out private villa estate in East Bali, known for hosting weddings, retreats, brand takeovers, and private events offering an exclusive blend of design, privacy, and high-end hospitality.
They are seeking a hands-on and experienced Operations Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of the estate, ensuring seamless service delivery, exceptional guest experiences, and the successful execution of weddings, retreats, and private events.
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in luxury hospitality operations, with at least 2 years in a managerial role (Villa Manager / Resort Manager / Operations Manager).

Proven experience in private villas, boutique resorts, or full buy-out properties, ideally with exposure to weddings, retreats, or high-end events.

Strong understanding of end-to-end guest journey management, including pre-arrival planning, personalised service delivery, and post-stay follow-up.

Demonstrated ability to manage multi-department operations (housekeeping, F&B, guest relations, maintenance) in a lean team structure.

Solid experience in handling events operations (weddings, private celebrations, brand activations, retreats).

Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to oversee multicultural teams and maintain high morale.

Strong problem-solving skills with a hands-on approach and attention to detail.

Good financial awareness, including budgeting, cost control, and vendor coordination.

Excellent communication skills in English; additional languages are an advantage.
- Familiarity with the Bali market, including local suppliers, staffing, and cultural sensitivities, is highly preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the daily operations of the villa estate, ensuring seamless coordination across all departments (Housekeeping, F&B, Guest Relations, Maintenance).

Ensure the delivery of exceptional, personalized guest experiences, aligned with luxury full-buy-out standards.

Manage end-to-end event operations, including weddings, retreats, and private functions, from pre-planning to execution and post-event follow-up.

Act as the main point of contact for in-house guests and event organizers, ensuring all requirements and special requests are handled efficiently.

Lead, train, and supervise the team to maintain high service standards, performance, and team engagement.

Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) to enhance operational efficiency and consistency.

Monitor and manage operational budgets, cost control, and inventory, including vendor and supplier coordination.

Ensure the property is consistently maintained to highest aesthetic and functional standards.

Handle guest feedback and resolve issues promptly, maintaining service recovery excellence.
- Coordinate closely with the owner and relevant stakeholders on operations, performance updates, and strategic improvements.
