About the job Director of Marketing
Our client is a luxury full-buy-out private villa estate in East Bali, known for hosting weddings, retreats, brand takeovers, and private events, offering an exclusive blend of design, privacy, and high-end hospitality.
They are seeking a Director of Marketing to lead the property's overall marketing strategy, oversee brand positioning, drive commercial growth, and manage all marketing initiatives across digital, creative, and partnership channels while ensuring a world-class brand presence.
The ideal candidate is a strategic marketing leader with a strong commercial mindset, capable of developing long-term marketing strategies while remaining hands-on in execution, performance optimization, and cross-channel brand communication.

Requirements:
- Minimum 7 years of marketing experience, including at least 3 years in a senior leadership role, ideally within luxury hospitality, events, or travel.
- Proven experience developing and executing marketing strategies that drive brand awareness, customer acquisition, and revenue growth.
- Strong understanding of digital marketing, including Meta and Google Ads, with the ability to oversee performance marketing and optimize campaign effectiveness.
- Demonstrated experience leading and mentoring marketing teams while collaborating with designers, web developers, content creators, and external agencies.
- Experienced in project management, budgeting, marketing performance reporting, and ROI analysis.
- Fluent in English with exceptional communication skills and strong aesthetic judgment.
- Experience within Bali or Southeast Asia's luxury market is preferred, with exposure to weddings, retreats, or high-end travel.
- Strong visual sense, brand storytelling capability, and the ability to balance creativity with data-driven decision-making.
- Commercially minded, proactive, self-driven, and confident in making strategic decisions that support business growth.
- Willing to relocate within the Manggis area of Karangasem Regency.
Key Responsibilities:
Marketing Strategy & Leadership
- Develop and lead the overall marketing strategy aligned with the property's commercial objectives and luxury brand positioning.
- Translate seasonal business goals (weddings, retreats, buy-outs, productions) into integrated marketing initiatives.
- Oversee annual marketing plans, budgets, campaign calendars, and resource allocation.
- Lead, mentor, and collaborate with internal and external creative teams to ensure high-quality execution across all marketing initiatives.
- Ensure all brand communications consistently reflect the property's luxury positioning.
Performance Marketing & Analytics
- Oversee the execution and optimization of Meta and Google Ads campaigns.
- Guide creative testing, audience segmentation, retargeting strategies, and market expansion initiatives.
- Ensure accurate tracking through Google Tag Manager (GTM) and conversion pixels.
- Review campaign performance, marketing spend, and KPIs (ROAS, CTR, conversions, enquiries), providing strategic recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Identify and develop new target markets, including GCC, Europe, India, and Singapore.
Brand, Website & Digital Presence
- Oversee website strategy, design updates, and campaign landing pages in collaboration with the web developer.
- Review and approve social media strategies, content calendars, captions, and creative assets produced by the marketing team.
- Maintain a consistent and elevated brand presence across Instagram, Meta, TikTok, Pinterest, and other relevant channels.
- Drive data-informed improvements to strengthen brand awareness, engagement, and customer acquisition.
