About the job General Manager

Our client is a Bali-based luxury boutique property management company with several villas and properties located in multiple areas of Bali, including Uluwatu and Canggu. They are seeking a visionary and commercially driven General Manager to lead the organisation, overseeing operations, financial performance, and strategic growth, while working closely with the Co-Founders.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in hospitality, preferably within luxury hotels or property management companies 
  • Strong background in sales and marketing with proven ability to drive commercial performance of hospitality business 
  • Proven track record in senior leadership roles, with full operational and financial accountability
  • Strong strategic thinking and business acumen, with the ability to translate vision into actionable plans
  • Highly data-driven and results-oriented, with experience in performance analysis and decision-making
  • Solid understanding of financial management, budgeting, and investment planning
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with fluency in English
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire teams, building a high-performance and collaborative culture
  • Strong understanding of luxury service standards and guest experience excellence
  • High level of commitment, ownership, and accountability in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to be hands-on and adaptable, with full availability as required by business demands

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide overall leadership and strategic direction for the company, ensuring alignment with business objectives and long-term growth plans
  • Oversee and drive performance across all key functions, including operations, finance, and business development
  • Take full accountability for company performance, including profitability, efficiency, and service excellence
  • Develop and implement business strategies that enhance brand positioning, customer experience, and market competitiveness
  • Monitor financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, and investment planning, ensuring sustainable growth
  • Establish and maintain high standards of service delivery, with a strong focus on luxury hospitality and curated guest experiences
  • Lead, mentor, and develop the management team, fostering a culture of teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including owners, partners, and clients
  • Identify growth opportunities, including new properties, partnerships, and revenue streams
  • Report directly to the Co-Founders, providing regular updates on performance, strategy, and key initiatives
