About the job Chef de Rang
Our client is an exclusive 5-star luxury hotel in Venice, part of a prestigious international hospitality group and currently in a very dynamic pre-opening phase. They are looking for a Chef de Rang to join their team.
As a Chef de Rang, you will be responsible for delivering an exceptional fine dining experience within your assigned section, ensuring seamless service aligned with the highest luxury standards.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a high-end environment where excellence, precision, and personalised service are at the core of the guest experience.
The role can be offered on both:
- Seasonal contract
- Permanent (indefinite-term contract)

Requirements:
- Previous experience as Chef de Rang in a 5* luxury environment or fine dining restaurants
- Strong knowledge of service techniques
- Good understanding of wines and food pairing
- Excellent attention to detail and guest orientation
- Strong interpersonal skills and team spirit
- Ability to work under pressure in a dynamic environment
- Professional presentation
- Fluency in English and Italian (French is a plus!)
- Passion for hospitality and willingness to grow
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing independently your assigned dining section, ensuring smooth service from mise en place to guest departure
- Delivering a personalised, discreet, and flawless guest experience
- Demonstrating strong knowledge of menus, ingredients, and wine pairings
- Coordinating with the Maître and service team to ensure smooth service flow
- Supervising and supporting Commis de Rang within your section
- Maintaining impeccable presentation of your station and dining area
- Handling guest requests and special needs with professionalism
- Ensuring compliance with service standards and hygiene regulations
- Contributing to continuous improvement of the guest experience
