Our client, a luxurious 5-star boutique hospitality brand and integrated family resort located in the prime location of Penang, Malaysia, is seeking an experienced Director of Food and Beverage to lead their dynamic team.
As a Director of Food and Beverage, you will function as the strategic business leader of the hotel's food and beverage/culinary operation, including Restaurants/Bars, Room Service, and Banquets/Catering, where applicable, ensuring exceptional service, quality standards, and financial performance. This role is crucial in driving business growth, optimizing operations, and fostering a high-performing team across all locations.
Requirements:
- At least 5 years of progressive leadership experience in the food and beverage managerial role with a luxury international chain hotel.
- Proven experience in managing multiple outlets.
- Business-driven mindset with strong financial acumen.
- Exceptional leadership and interpersonal skills with a focus on creating a positive team environment.
- Ability to develop creative dining concepts and provide an exceptional dining experience, catering to family needs and preferences.
- Commitment to uphold high standards for food safety, hygiene, and quality.
- Excellent communication skills for engaging with guests, staff, and other departments.
- Ability to comply with all Food and Beverage brand standards.
- Prior experience in city hotels preferred.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee all F&B outlets, including restaurants, bars, room service, and banqueting, ensuring top-quality family-friendly and luxury dining experiences.
- Develop and implement innovative dining concepts, menus, and promotions tailored to diverse guest preferences.
- Monitor F&B financial performance, including revenue generation, cost control, and profitability.
- Recruit, train, and manage a high-performing F&B team, fostering creativity and excellent service standards.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene regulations across all outlets.
- Address guest feedback and implement solutions to continuously improve service quality
