Our client, a renowned international cafe and bistro known for its signature products and services, is seeking an experienced Executive Chef to join their dynamic team. In this role, you will oversee all kitchen operations, including menu development, food preparation, and maintaining the highest standards of quality and presentation to ensure alignment with the brands esteemed reputation.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years experience as a Head Chef or Senior Sous Chef from a well-established restaurant brand in Bali.
  • Experience in menu development and culinary innovation, with a focus on creating unique, high-quality dining experiences.
  • Knowledge of food safety, sanitation standards, and compliance with relevant health regulations.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Strong financial acumen, with experience in managing kitchen budgets, inventory control, and cost optimization.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with kitchen staff and front-of-house teams.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage all aspects of kitchen operations, including the execution of menus, food preparation, and upholding the highest standards of food & beverage quality and presentation.
  • Supervise, train, and mentor kitchen staff, ensuring effective scheduling, skill development, and the cultivation of a collaborative and positive work environment.
  • Oversee inventory management, food procurement, and the adherence to budget planning, optimizing kitchen resources and minimizing waste.
  • Collaborate closely with the front-of-house team to ensure smooth communication and a seamless dining experience for guests.
  • Ensure the kitchen is maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness, organization, and compliance with food safety and health regulations.
  • Stay updated with industry trends, to continuously innovate the menu and enhance the overall guest experience.
