Our client, a pre-opening boutique hotel in the breathtaking landscape of South Bali, offering a serene and holistic retreat emphasizing health, wellness, and rejuvenation, is seeking an experienced Human Resources Assistant Manager to join their pre-opening team.

As a Human Resource Assistant Manager you will be responsible to serve as a key point of contact for employees, ensuring a positive work environment while supporting company policies and strategic HR initiatives.

Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is a plus.
  • Minimum of 2 years experience as a Human Resources Generalist or Human Resources Admin from a hospitality brand. 
  • Strong understanding of payroll processes, including wage calculation, payroll transactions, and compliance with wage and hour laws.
  • Proven experience in recruiting and hiring staff, including entry-level positions.
  • Ability to prioritise tasks, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Great interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Excellent administration skills.
  • Pre-opening experience is a plus. 

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the end-to-end recruitment process, including job postings, candidate screening, interviews, and onboarding.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive work environment to enhance employee engagement and retention.
  • Develop and implement training programs to enhance employee skills, ensure compliance, and support growth.
  • Supervise and uphold quality standards based on the restaurants Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Assist in payroll processing by accurately calculating salaries, benefits, and deductions in compliance with company policies and labor regulations.
  • Act as a mediator in employee relations matters, addressing workplace conflicts and ensuring fair resolutions in alignment with company policies.
  • Maintain HR records, manage employee documentation, and support daily administrative tasks to ensure smooth HR operations.
