About the job General Manager

Our client, an international 5-star beachfront resort, part of a renowned international chain brand, with majestic mountain views and breathtaking views over the lagoon, is seeking an experienced General Manager to lead their team.

As General Manager, you will oversee all operational aspects of the resort, including rooms, food & beverage, and spa & wellness services. You will drive revenue and profitability while maintaining high service standards and delivering an exceptional guest experience.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification in Hospitality Management or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role, within the international luxury hotel sector with a successful track record in a senior leadership position.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills and operational expertise within the luxury hospitality brand.
  • Experience with Forbes Travel Guide Standards or LQA (Luxury Quality Assurance) is highly desirable.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of resort operations, including Rooms, Food & Beverage, and Spa services.
  • Proven track record in managing a high volume of operations or hotel occupancy.  
  • Strong attention to detail and a passion for delivering exceptional service.
  • Solid business and financial acumen.
  • Outstanding communication and leadership abilities.
  • Creative and innovative mindset, committed to driving excellence.
  • Additional language proficiency: French or German is a plus. 

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all operational aspects of the resort, including Rooms, Food & Beverage, and Spa services, ensuring seamless day-to-day operations.
  • Lead, motivate, and inspire a diverse team to consistently deliver exceptional guest experiences.
  • Maintain the highest standards of service quality and ensure outstanding guest satisfaction.
  • Foster a positive, collaborative, and dynamic work environment that promotes team engagement and excellence.
  • Analyze Profit and Loss (P&L) statements and implement impactful strategies to drive financial performance and operational efficiency.
  • Achieve hotel budget targets and establish both short-term and long-term strategic objectives for the property.
  • Develop and execute strategic plans to enhance operational productivity and profitability.
  • Guide and support the Hotel Executive team, fostering their professional growth and ensuring clear paths for career development.
