Our esteemed client, comprising two ultra-luxury five-star resorts nestled in the stunning landscapes of the Maldives, is actively seeking an accomplished Cluster Director of Human Resources. This strategic leadership role will oversee and enhance HR operations across both properties, driving excellence in talent management, employee engagement, and organisational development.

Qualifications:

  • At least 10 years of progressive experience in HR leadership, including a minimum of 3 years in a Director or Cluster Director position within a luxury resort setting.
  • Strong expertise in Maldivian labour laws, immigration regulations, and compliance requirements.
  • Demonstrated success in managing HR functions across multiple properties or within a cluster structure in the hospitality industry.
  • Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Outstanding organisational, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline; professional HR certifications are advantageous.
  • Background in multicultural and high-performance work environments.
  • Open to Maldivian nationals only.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage the full spectrum of HR operations across two resort properties, ensuring alignment with the company's core values and overall business objectives.
  • Ensure full compliance with the Maldives Employment Act and all relevant labor laws and regulatory requirements.
  • Lead strategic HR initiatives, including recruitment, onboarding, and talent acquisition to attract and retain top-tier talent.
  • Drive employee engagement and organizational culture through effective communication, recognition programs, and employee relations strategies.
  • Develop and implement talent development frameworks, including training, performance management, and career progression plans.
  • Oversee compensation and benefits structures to ensure market competitiveness and internal equity.
  • Lead the performance management process to support a high-performance culture and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • Champion succession planning and workforce planning to ensure future leadership pipeline readiness.
  • Act as a trusted advisor and strategic partner to General Managers and senior leadership teams across both properties.
  • Foster a positive, inclusive, and high-performing work environment that supports employee well-being and company success.
