About the job Culinary Instructor

Our client, an international culinary institution, is seeking an experienced chef to join their team as a culinary instructor. As a culinary instructor, you will be responsible for planning and delivering culinary classes, assessing students' academic progress, and providing professional and personal guidance to students when needed.

Requirements:

    • Bachelor's degree or Diploma in culinary arts or relevant field.
    • Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in a kitchen department, as a Head Chef or Sous Chef from a well-established international brand.
    • Strong knowledge and ability in culinary art.
    • Proven experience in mentoring and delivering culinary knowledge in a professional setting.
    • Bali (or Indonesia) based candidate is preferred.
    • Work experience in international brands or 5* hotel chains.
      Fluent in English.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal.
      

Responsibilities:

  • Create study materials, handouts, and daily lesson plans for effective student learning.
  • Deliver classes with both practical and theoretical culinary skills tailored to the curriculum aligned with the institution standard.
  • Design and apply creative teaching methods to engage students in the learning process
  • Prepare and structure assignments, exams, and projects to drive student academic improvement.
  • Ensure all classroom, lab, and school supplies are set up and ready for student use.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to students, both personally and professionally.
