Our client, a pre-opening international restaurant in Uluwatu that is specialised in Greek and Mediterranean cuisine, is seeking an experienced and proactive Human Resources Manager to lead the setup and execution of all human resource functions, support the opening team, and build a strong foundation for long-term operational success.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of HR experience in hospitality, particularly in a restaurant operations setting.
- Proficiency in HR software, Microsoft Office, and employee database systems.
- Pre-opening experience is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of local labour laws and HR best practices.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
- Fluent in English and Bahasa Indonesia (or local language if outside Indonesia).
- Able to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment and meet deadlines.
- High level of integrity, confidentiality, and professionalism.
- Strong organisational and multitasking skills.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the full scope of Human Resources functions for the pre-opening phase and ongoing operations.
- Develop and implement HR policies, procedures, and systems tailored to the restaurant's operational needs and aligned with local labour regulations.
- Oversee recruitment and onboarding processes, including sourcing, interviewing, hiring, and induction for all departments.
- Establish organizational structure, job descriptions, and performance evaluation systems.
- Manage staff training, development programs, and succession planning to build a high-performing team.
- Ensure compliance with labour laws, health & safety standards, and internal policies.
- Administer employee relations, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution fairly and professionally.
- Handle payroll coordination, attendance monitoring, and benefits administration.
- Foster a positive and inclusive work environment, supporting team engagement and morale.
- Act as a key liaison between management and staff, promoting clear communication and workplace harmony.
- Support the pre-opening team with manpower planning and compliance checklists.
