About the job Director of Sales and Marketing

Our client, an eco-luxury 4-star boutique resort, nestled in the picturesque Ubud rainforest and situated in Tampaksiring, the cultural heart of Bali, is currently seeking a Director of Sales and Marketing.

As a Director of Sales & Marketing, you will be responsible for creating and executing sales and marketing strategies while driving revenue for the resorts.

Requirements:

    • A minimum of 5 years of experience in managing small luxury boutique resorts
    • Proven track record of driving sales in a similar establishment
    • Results-driven and goal-oriented professional
    • Ability to work in small boutique operations
    • Well-connected with both inbound and outbound travel partners
    • Strong expertise in digital marketing
    • Excellent communications skills
    • Open to local (Indonesian) candidates only


    Responsibilities:

      • Conducted sales calls to local travel agents and overseas travel agents.
      • Contracting in coordination with the GM or RM.
      • Maximizing the property occupancy and ADR, and endeavor to show the growth from the past year.
      • Improve the positioning of the resort within our competitors, both MPI and RGI.
      • Increase the materialization of direct bookings and reduce the OTA gradually.
      • Confers and secures important agreements with major commercial partners.
      • Ensures to anticipate on the market tendencies and implement timely promotions to ensure maximation of the hotel total revenue.
      • Prepares and presents the quarterly business action plan for the hotel Sales, as well as review of the previous quarters.
      • Prepares for the general Managers approval the rate structure of the hotel and ensures full implementation and respect from the rest of the team.
      • Ensures with the other departments concerned implementation and respect of all brand standards and ensure that the reporting standards and deadlines are always respected.
      • Responsible for the individual performances of all sales team members.
      • Constantly develops new markets and commercial strategies to internationalize our marketing and business sources.
      • Manage sales and marketing expenses effectively.
