Our client is a newly open five-star resort with multiple F&B outlets, recognized globally as a hospitality leader for its legendary service, world-class spa retreats and distinct dining concept is seeking for a passionate Hostess.

As a Hostess, you are responsible for being the first point of contact for our guests. Your responsibilities include greeting guests, providing accurate wait times and escorting customers to the dining and bar areas.

For this role, you should have solid organizational and people skills to make sure our guests have a positive dining experience from the moment they arrive till their departure. Ultimately, you'll ensure we provide excellent customer service and a pleasant dining experience to the guests.


Responsibilities

  • Ensure that all guests are greeted courteously and attentively in the working area.
  • Work with an empathetic attitude and if there is any problem which cannot be handled, must contact Restaurant Manager/Asst. Restaurant Manager.
  • Attend regular meetings and briefings to keep informed of policies and procedures, special events, further improvement plans and guest comments.
  • Be familiar with food menus and wine menus offered in outlets.
  • Ensure the prompt and efficient service required by the resort's standards.
  • Ensure all mis-en-place for restaurant service is correctly prepared prior to opening hour of service.
  • Follow the leadership of the captain or supervisor on shift.
  • Have a good knowledge of all outlet menus and F&B day-to-day activities.
  • Recommend and promote items as directed by the Asst. Restaurant Manager.
  • Maintain at all times the highest standard of social skills.
    

    Requirements

    • A Hospitality degree from a recognized hospitality school or previous experience is preferred
    • One year or more of experience in a similar role in an international hotel chain
    • Knowledge of restaurant and bar procedures, set up and service
    • Very good command of written and spoken English
    • Excellent communicator with the ability to multitask
    • Previous working experience in a remote location is preferred
    • Pre-opening experience is a plus!
    • Additional European language is a plus!
    • Work experience in a well-established Italian restaurant.
