About the job Head Bartender
Our client, a pre-opening international restaurant in Uluwatu specializing in Greek and Mediterranean cuisine, is seeking a passionate and skilled Head Bartender to lead and elevate their bar program.
The Head Bartender will lead all bar operations, from pre-opening setup and beverage program development to daily service execution, staff training, inventory control, and delivering an exceptional guest experience aligned with the restaurants Greek-Mediterranean concept.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as Head Bartender or Senior Bartender or Bar Supervisor, or Mixologist in upscale or international restaurant/bar settings.
- Strong knowledge of Mediterranean spirits, wines, and mixology trends; creativity in cocktail development is a plus.
- Previous experience in pre-opening operations is highly desirable.
- Leadership qualities with the ability to train, motivate, and manage a team.
- Excellent understanding of bar inventory management, stock control, and beverage cost.
- Fluent in English with strong communication and guest service skills.
- Energetic, professional, and adaptable to a fast-paced opening environment.

Responsibilities:
- Oversee the setup and day-to-day operations of the bar during the pre-opening and post-opening phases.
- Strong knowledge of wine pairing and cocktail creations.
- Curate and execute a beverage menu that complements Greek and Mediterranean flavours.
- Lead recruitment, onboarding, and training of the bar team.
- Manage stock levels, supplier relationships, and beverage cost control.
- Ensure top-tier service, hygiene standards, and compliance with local regulations.
- Collaborate with the culinary team to develop beverage pairings and seasonal promotions.
- Foster a welcoming and memorable bar experience for guests.
