About the job Senior Sous Chef
Our client, a pre-opening international restaurant in Uluwatu that is specialised in Greek and Mediterranean cuisine, is seeking a seasoned Senior Sous Chef to assist the Executive Chef in leading and managing the kitchen team and operations.
This role supports the Executive Chef in overseeing daily kitchen operations, leading the team, ensuring exceptional food quality, and maintaining consistency in presentation. It also involves assisting with menu development, managing inventory and costs, and ensuring compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations.

Qualifications:
- Minimum of three years of experience as a Sous Chef or one year as a Head Chef in international restaurants or establishments in Bali.
- Strong knowledge of culinary techniques, including advanced cooking methods.
- Exceptional leadership and communication skills to effectively manage a team.
- Experience in a pre-opening team is a plus.
- Ability to work well under pressure and maintain composure in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
- Deep understanding of food safety and hygiene practices.
- Experience with Greek or Mediterranean cuisines.
- Ability to train and mentor junior kitchen staff.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Executive Chef in overseeing daily kitchen operations.
Manage and supervise the kitchen team, ensuring efficient and high-quality food production. - Maintain the highest standards of food quality, presentation, and consistency.
- Develop and execute innovative menu items in collaboration with the Executive Chef.
- Ensure compliance with all food safety and sanitation regulations.
- Assist with inventory management, cost control, and ordering
