On behalf of our client, an ultra-luxury resort on the Red Sea coast in Saudi Arabia, we seek a dynamic and experienced Resort Manager to join their pre-opening team. This resort blends natural beauty with top-notch luxury, offering a unique wellness experience for total relaxation and well-being.
As a Resort Manager, your role is crucial in overseeing the day-to-day operations, ensuring smooth service delivery, and maintaining the highest standards of guest experience. Additionally, you will collaborate to create a seamless, personalized experience for guests, while also addressing any guest concerns or special requests.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Hotel Administration, Business Administration or equivalent.
- 2+ years of director-level experience in high-level operations or general management in luxury hotels, with multi-departmental expertise.
- A well-developed capability for strategic decision-making and a track record of proven results in the areas of customer satisfaction, operational excellence, host satisfaction, revenue and profit.
- Solid leadership experience in high-end resorts, ultra-luxury brands, or international hotel chains.
- Able to live in a remote location for extended periods and travel on single status.
- An Arabic-speaking candidate is encouraged to apply.
- Pre-opening experience is preferred.
Responsibilities:
- Continually focus on the rejuvenation of the property experience by keeping abreast of industry trends and practices and updating knowledge and skills to improve the product and service offering.
- Lead a team of engaged and experienced managers who each manage their own teams on a daily basis to provide the brand with exceptional standards of operation and service.
- Support the General Manager to ensure that the annual budget is met and exceeded in terms of both revenue generation and cost control.
- Responsible for delivering a crafted experience for all of our guests following the brand operating standards.
- Establish and deliver pre-established financial returns related to revenue generation, profitability and ROIC.
- Operate the property consistent with all legal, statutory and financial requirements and documentation, reporting systems, contractual obligations, security and safety protocols, communications, product and service standards, host management practices and budgetary controls are implemented, reviewed and maintained to ensure the successful operation of the brand.
- Monitor the service delivery across the property.
- Responsible for maintaining licenses, certifications, and safety protocols for both hosts and guests.
- Responsible for analyzing operational costs, and revenue streams, and helping maximize profitability while maintaining brand service standards.
- Responsible for manning decisions, including hiring, training, and managing performance, while fostering a positive working environment.
