Our client, an upscale international restaurant set to open in Uluwatu, specialises in Greek and Mediterranean cuisine and is seeking a highly experienced Restaurant Manager. This pivotal role supports the Operations Manager in leading and managing the restaurant service team while ensuring seamless operations and exceptional guest experiences.

This role supports the Operations Manager in managing daily restaurant activities, including supplier coordination, inventory control, team leadership, and upholding exceptional service and food quality. Responsibilities also include overseeing shift operations, addressing guest issues, training staff, and ensuring compliance with health, safety, and food & beverage regulations.

Requirements:

  • Open to local candidates only with at least 2 years of experience in leadership roles for restaurants or hotels.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication in English.
  • Strong knowledge of the restaurant operations.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills to effectively manage a team: highly organised,
  • Proactive, disciplined, detail-oriented.
  • Excellent organisational, problem-solving and time management skills.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and maintain composure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Operations Manager in managing and supervising the day-to-day restaurant operations.
  • Source suppliers and establishing contracts, inventory and ordering.
  • Manage and supervise the restaurant team, ensuring efficient and high-quality guest service.
  • Monitor and maintain high standards of service and food quality.
  • Supervise daily shift operations. Manage the shift, handle cash transactions, ensure order and atmosphere in the restaurant.
  • Handle and solve guests problems and complaints
  • Hire, train and develop team members to ensure operational excellence. Foster a positive working environment to motivate and engage employees. Build strong interpersonal relationships with staff while maintaining professionalism.
  • Ensure all operations comply with local health and safety regulations, with all food & beverage policies, standards and procedures, with all applicable laws and regulations.
