Construction Project Manager (Contract)

Our client is a luxury beachfront resort nestled within a 100-hectare reserve on Indonesia's Sumba Island, offering minimalist villas with private pools, pristine white-sand beaches, and immersive cultural experiences amidst the ancestral lands of the Sumba ethnic.

To support their next phase of development, they are seeking an experienced and driven Project Manager to lead the construction of a new villa cluster within the resort complex.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years of proven experience in project management, ideally within the villa or luxury property development sector.
  
• Fluent in English with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  
• Solid background in engineering or construction, with the ability to manage technical aspects of the project.
  
• Strong leadership and organisational skills, with the ability to manage timelines, teams, and budgets.
  
• Willing and able to relocate to Sumba, with full commitment to the duration of a project-based contract.
  
• Demonstrated problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently in remote environments.
  
• Familiarity with local construction regulations and permitting processes is a plus.
  

Responsibilities:

• Lead and oversee the end-to-end development of a luxury villa project in Sumba.
  
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure project milestones are met.
  
• Monitor project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation to ensure on-time and on-budget delivery.
  
• Ensure quality control and compliance with safety, design, and environmental standards.
  
• Provide regular progress reports and updates to management and investors.
  
• Manage on-site operations, address any construction or logistical issues, and implement solutions efficiently.
  
• Foster strong collaboration among internal teams and third-party vendors.
