Our client, a luxurious 5-star integrated family resort in the heart of Penang, Malaysia, is on the lookout for an experienced Wellness Manager to manage and lead their wellness department.
As a Wellness Manager, you will design and oversee comprehensive wellness programs. Your responsibilities include conducting regular yoga sessions, implementing Ayurvedic practices, and managing all operational aspects of our fitness and wellness facilities. You will ensure that our services meet high standards and align with market trends and customer preferences.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years in wellness or spa management within luxury hospitality or wellness centers; practitioners with relevant expertise are encouraged to apply.
- Familiarity with Ayurvedic principles and therapies, with the ability to integrate them into wellness programs.
- Competent in managing budgets, inventory, and scheduling to ensure smooth and cost-effective operations.
- Skilled in designing and implementing wellness offerings, including spa treatments, yoga sessions, and mindfulness activities tailored to families and individuals.
- Ability to manage a team of wellness professionals while providing hands-on services, such as leading yoga sessions.
- Commitment to enhancing guest well-being with personalized, family-friendly wellness experiences.
- Knowledgeable in health and safety standards to maintain a secure and serene environment for guests and staff.
Responsibilities:
- Design and oversee wellness programs that blend luxury and family-oriented activities, including spa treatments, yoga, and mindfulness sessions.
- Incorporate Ayurvedic principles into wellness offerings to provide unique and holistic experiences.
- Conduct and lead the wellness programs, including yoga sessions and other wellness activities.
- Develop and manage the wellness department's budget, ensuring cost efficiency and revenue generation.
- Collaborate with other resort departments to create integrated guest experiences.
- Monitor guest feedback and continuously enhance wellness services to meet and exceed expectations.
- Maintain a safe, serene, and clean environment that aligns with the resorts' luxury standards.
- Responsible for the operations of the entire Spa & Wellness including guest interactions.
