Our client, a leading destination management company, is actively seeking a dynamic and experienced Inbound Director to handle the team. 

As an Inbound Director, your role is crucial in overseeing the strategic direction and execution of inbound marketing efforts, ensuring the creation and delivery of high-quality content that attracts and engages target audiences. You will also manage the inbound team, optimise lead generation processes, and collaborate with sales and other departments to drive customer acquisition and business growth.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as Director of Sales in the hospitality sector or a similar position from a Destination Management Company.
  • Proven experience in the European market is essential.
  • Skillsets in B2C sales, including communication, digital marketing, and e-commerce. 
  • Proven experience managing multinationals and multidisciplinary teams.
  • Excellent management, leadership, and organizational skills.
  • Strong analytical and strategic abilities for tracking performance and decision-making.
  • Proficiency with quality management tools and performance tracking platforms.
  • Effective problem-solving and conflict resolution capabilities.
  • Additional French language is a plus.

Responsibilities: 

Departmental Management and Leadership

  • Supervise and coordinate the Production, Operations, and Reservations departments to ensure efficient and seamless operations.
  • Regularly track objectives, performance, and needs across all departments.
  • Identify and implement processes to improve efficiency and productivity.
  • Train and motivate teams to achieve their goals while upholding company standards.

Sales Training and Expertise

  • Train new sales agents on sales techniques and quotation methods, ensuring they are fully equipped to meet client expectations.
  • Master all aspects of the sales process, from client consultation to finalizing itineraries.
  • Support the sales team in achieving their targets and improving their performance.

Commercial Strategy and Business Development

  • Monitor sales and revenue performance of the sales team and implement actions to drive improvements.
  • Identify new market opportunities, and develop destinations and products in collaboration with the Production department.
  • Contribute to the company's strategic positioning in the B2C market by developing a website in partnership with a specialized WordPress agency.

Sustainability and Quality

  • Continue implementing and monitoring sustainability strategies aligned with Travelife certification and industry standards.
  • Collaborate with suppliers and internal teams to promote sustainable practices.
  • Conduct regular audits to evaluate the quality and sustainability of services (accommodations, guides, excursions).

Client Relations and Feedback Monitoring

  • Handle complaints received during trips, resolve issues promptly, and ensure traveller satisfaction.
  • Monitor post-trip feedback to identify areas for improvement.
  • Ensure client satisfaction and implement systems to continuously improve service quality.

Partner Relations and Representation

  • Maintain strong relationships with suppliers and partners to ensure quality and sustainability.
  • Represent the company in external meetings and strategic partnerships.

High-Season Availability

  • Be on duty during the high season (June 1 to October 31) with no vacation or extended absences allowed during this critical period.
  • Ensure seamless operations and be readily available to address any challenges during peak travel periods.
