Our client, a luxury beach resort located in the cosmopolitan hub of Bali island that attracts guests seeking both excitement and relaxation, is actively seeking a dynamic and experienced Area Sales Manager with USA market experience.

As an Area Sales Manager, your role is crucial for managing and developing sales strategies, identifying new business opportunities, building and maintaining customer relationships, and achieving sales targets. 

This role requires you to work closely with the sales team, coordinating sales activities, and providing excellent customer service. The Area Sales Manager will also collaborate with other departments, such as marketing and operations, to ensure smooth operations and maximize revenue.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sales, or related field.
  • Proven experience in sales and achieving sales targets.
  • Strong knowledge of the hospitality industry and luxury market.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain customer relationships.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Team player with good leadership skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and sales software.
  • Fluency in English and an additional language is a plus.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement sales strategies and plans for the assigned area to achieve sales targets and business goals.
  • Lead, train, and motivate a team of sales representatives or account managers to ensure high performance and achievement of sales objectives.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and clients, addressing their needs and concerns to drive customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify opportunities for growth and adapt sales strategies accordingly.
  • Monitor and report on sales performance, including tracking metrics such as sales volume, revenue, and market share. Provide regular updates to senior management.
  • Set sales targets and goals for the team, and develop plans to achieve these targets. Adjust strategies as needed based on performance and market conditions.
  • Oversee and manage the sales budget for the area, ensuring cost-effective use of resources and maximizing return on investment.
  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of the companys products or services, and ensure the team is well-informed and able to effectively communicate the value proposition to customers.
  • Address and resolve any issues or challenges that arise in the sales process, including customer complaints or internal obstacles.
  • Work closely with other departments such as marketing, product development, and customer service to ensure alignment and support for sales activities.
  • Provide ongoing training and development for the sales team to enhance their skills, product knowledge, and sales techniques.
  • Efficiently manage and allocate resources within the assigned territory to optimize coverage and sales opportunities.
  • Negotiate contracts and terms with customers to secure profitable deals and maintain favorable conditions for both the company and the customer.
  • Gather and analyze customer feedback to identify areas for improvement and inform product or service enhancements.
