About the job Head of Reservations and Events
Our client, a premier group of restaurants and cafes with multiple outlets in Bali, is actively seeking a dynamic and experienced Head of Reservation and Events to join their team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of reservation systems, booking optimization, and event planning to ensure seamless guest experiences and maximize revenue for all outlets.
Requirements:
- Proven leadership experience in reservations and event management, in F&B operations roles.
- Experience working for an international brand with a high-volume operation.
- Strong knowledge and ability to perform reservations system, booking optimization, and event planning.
- Proven track record in maximizing revenue and guest experience.
- Extensive knowledge and experience in market analysis, competitor benchmarking and forecasting.
- Excellent command of both verbal and written English.
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills with the ability to motivate, develop, and lead a team effectively.
Responsibilities:
A. Reservations Management:
- Develop, review, and establish effective reservation processes and systems for all outlets, implementing standardized operating procedures (SOPs) for optimal use of the reservation software.
- Ensure all reservations procedures and policies are up-to-date and aligned with new outelt openings, operational needs, and evolving market conditions.
- Supervise the effective utilization of the reservations system across all venues to optimize seating arrangements, booking slots, and maximize guest occupancy.
B. Event Coordination and Planning:
- Lead the coordination of in-house events, ensuring successful planning, execution, and guest satisfaction.
- Work with key stakeholders to organize, manage, and oversee large group reservations, private dining events, and special occasions, ensuring a high level of service and attention to detail.
C. Team Leadership and Development:
- Mentor, coach, and motivate the reservations and reception team to deliver superior guest experiences and consistently adheres to the brand standards.
- Conduct regular training and refresher sessions for the team to improve service delivery, product knowledge, and guest interaction skills.
- Support the Restaurant Reservationists to ensure optimal fill rates across each service delivery, product knowledge, and guest interaction skills.
D. Guest Relations and VIP Client Engagement:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with VIP guests, key clients, and high-profile partners, including concierges, corporate partners, and influencers, to enhance brand loyalty.
- Handle guest feedback, logging issues into a weekly report for the Directors, and work with Heads of Department (HODs) to create action plans for any required retraining of Front of House (FOH) staff.
E. Revenue Optimization and Analysis:
- Maximize cover counts and revenue in line with targets and profit improvement plans by analyzing booking patterns, seasonal demand, and peak service times.
- Conduct regular competitor analysis and market trend monitoring to create and develop pricing strategy and identify new revenue opportunities.
