Our client is a pre‑opening five‑star lifestyle resort in Phuket, Thailand, designed to capture the island's vibrant energy and deliver a youthful luxury‑lifestyle experience. The property will offer a highly curated guest journey, defined by its playful, modern, beachfront identity and dynamic, social atmosphere.
They are seeking a commercially driven and creative Director of Food & Beverage to lead and oversee all F&B operations, including restaurants, rooftop bars, room service, and event spaces, while driving innovative concept development, revenue growth, operational excellence, and exceptional guest experiences aligned with the resort's lifestyle positioning.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
- Minimum 7 years of progressive Food & Beverage leadership experience within luxury, premium lifestyle hotels, boutique hospitality brands, or high-end multi-outlet restaurant groups.
- At least 3 years' experience in a Director of F&B or Assistant Director of F&B position.
- Proven track record in pre-opening projects, concept development, or repositioning of F&B venues with strong commercial success.
- Previous experience in Southeast Asia is highly preferred, particularly within the Thai hospitality market.
- Strong understanding of global Food & Beverage trends, including experiential dining, contemporary café culture, and modern mixology.
- Strong commercial and financial acumen with proven ability to drive revenue growth and profitability.
- Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills with experience managing culturally diverse teams in fast-paced environments.
- Proficient in POS systems, including Agilysys and Micros.
- Strong operational, organisational, and problem-solving abilities.
- Passionate about hospitality with a proactive and positive attitude.
- Adaptable, hands-on, and capable of thriving in a dynamic lifestyle hospitality environment.
- Strong team player with excellent work ethic and communication skills.
- Fluent in English; Thai language proficiency is highly advantageous.
- Willingness to work flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and oversee the overall Food & Beverage operations, including restaurants, bars, room service, and events.

Drive the development and execution of innovative F&B concepts aligned with the hotel's lifestyle positioning and commercial objectives.

Develop and implement strategic initiatives to maximise revenue, profitability, and guest satisfaction across all F&B outlets.

Monitor financial performance, control operational costs, optimise payroll expenses, and ensure achievement of budgeted targets.

Foster a positive, high-performing, and service-driven culture within the F&B team through effective leadership and engagement.

Ensure exceptional guest experiences by maintaining consistently high service standards that are personalised and distinctive.

Lead recruitment, training, coaching, and performance management initiatives to strengthen team capability and operational excellence.

Stay updated with global F&B and lifestyle hospitality trends to continuously enhance the hotel's dining and beverage offerings.

Collaborate closely with senior management and ownership to support the hotel's overall business objectives and brand positioning.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, hygiene, and operational standards across all F&B areas.
