Our client is a 5* boutique luxury villa in West Bali, offering scenic views and a tranquil, nature-driven ambience. They are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Financial Controller to oversee financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, taxation, and overall financial operations while ensuring strong financial control and compliance across the property.

Requirements:

    • Minimum 3 years of leadership experience in finance or accounting within a 5‑star hotel or luxury hospitality environment.
    • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
    • Strong understanding of financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, cost control, and taxation.
    • Highly detail‑oriented with strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
    • Proven leadership abilities with strong stakeholder, employee, and owner relations management.
    • Proficient with PMS systems (Opera preferred) and familiar with hotel financial systems.
    • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with strong knowledge of hospitality operations; fluent in English (spoken & written).
    • Open to local Indonesian candidates only.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage all financial operations of the property, including accounting, budgeting, forecasting, taxation, and financial reporting
  • Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports
  • Monitor cash flow, expenses, revenue performance, and financial efficiency to support business sustainability and profitability
  • Develop and control annual budgets, forecasts, and financial planning strategies aligned with the property's operational goals
  • Ensure compliance with local tax regulations, accounting standards, and internal financial policies and procedures
  • Analyze financial data and provide strategic recommendations to improve operational performance and cost control
  • Supervise the accounting and finance team, ensuring strong leadership, accuracy, and efficiency within daily operations
  • Manage audits, reconciliations, and internal control processes to maintain financial transparency and accountability
  • Collaborate closely with department heads to support budgeting, purchasing control, and operational decision-making
  • Utilize PMS systems and financial software to monitor financial transactions, reporting accuracy, and operational performance
  • Maintain strong relationships with external stakeholders including auditors, banks, vendors, and government authorities
  • Support management in driving long-term financial sustainability within a luxury eco-hospitality environment
