About the job Financial Controller
Our client is a 5* boutique luxury villa in West Bali, offering scenic views and a tranquil, nature-driven ambience. They are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Financial Controller to oversee financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, taxation, and overall financial operations while ensuring strong financial control and compliance across the property.
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of leadership experience in finance or accounting within a 5‑star hotel or luxury hospitality environment.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, cost control, and taxation.
- Highly detail‑oriented with strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
- Proven leadership abilities with strong stakeholder, employee, and owner relations management.
- Proficient with PMS systems (Opera preferred) and familiar with hotel financial systems.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with strong knowledge of hospitality operations; fluent in English (spoken & written).
- Open to local Indonesian candidates only.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage all financial operations of the property, including accounting, budgeting, forecasting, taxation, and financial reporting

Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports

Monitor cash flow, expenses, revenue performance, and financial efficiency to support business sustainability and profitability

Develop and control annual budgets, forecasts, and financial planning strategies aligned with the property's operational goals

Ensure compliance with local tax regulations, accounting standards, and internal financial policies and procedures

Analyze financial data and provide strategic recommendations to improve operational performance and cost control

Supervise the accounting and finance team, ensuring strong leadership, accuracy, and efficiency within daily operations

Manage audits, reconciliations, and internal control processes to maintain financial transparency and accountability

Collaborate closely with department heads to support budgeting, purchasing control, and operational decision-making

Utilize PMS systems and financial software to monitor financial transactions, reporting accuracy, and operational performance

Maintain strong relationships with external stakeholders including auditors, banks, vendors, and government authorities
- Support management in driving long-term financial sustainability within a luxury eco-hospitality environment
