Our client is a lifestyle hospitality group renowned for its laid-back beachfront resorts, island experiences, and vibrant dining concepts across Bali and the surrounding islands. They are seeking an experienced Cluster Operations Manager to oversee and align day-to-day operations across multiple business units, drive operational excellence, optimise performance, and ensure consistent service standards and guest experiences across the portfolio.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of five years of managerial experience within the hospitality industry, especially in small boutique properties in Bali.
  • Previous work experience in Gili or other small islands in Indonesia is preferred. 
  • Previous experience overseeing multiple properties or multi-outlet operations.
  • Experience managing remote island or destination operations will be considered a strong advantage.
  • Strong understanding of hospitality operations, service standards, and operational best practices.
  • Solid knowledge of cost control, inventory management, maintenance planning, and operational efficiency.
  • Proven ability to analyze performance reports and identify opportunities for operational improvement.
  • Strong leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across all organizational levels.
  • Hands-on, results-driven, and highly detail-oriented approach to operations management.
  • Willingness to travel regularly between properties and business units.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and align day-to-day operations across multiple business units, ensuring consistency, operational excellence, and adherence to established standards.
  • Monitor operational performance, analyze KPIs, and implement improvement plans to achieve business objectives and enhance guest satisfaction.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between property operations teams and senior management, ensuring effective communication and timely issue resolution.
  • Maintain service quality and operational discipline while identifying and mitigating operational risks.
  • Drive guest experience and reputation management by monitoring feedback trends and ensuring prompt resolution of guest concerns.
  • Ensure compliance with safety procedures, emergency response protocols, and risk management practices.
  • Oversee preventive maintenance programs and safeguard company assets through effective maintenance planning and execution.
  • Monitor operational costs, purchasing practices, and inventory controls to maximize efficiency and profitability.
  • Prepare and consolidate daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports, providing performance insights and recommendations to senior leadership.
  • Lead, coach, and mentor operational managers while supporting leadership development and succession planning.
  • Foster accountability, cross-functional collaboration, and continuous improvement across all business units.
