Our client is a pre‑opening lifestyle and boutique luxury resort located in Phuket, Thailand, known for its vibrant energy, surf culture, and iconic sunsets. They are seeking an experienced local Executive Chef to lead all culinary operations across multiple outlets, maintain exceptional standards of quality and consistency, and curate refined dining experiences for discerning guests.

Requirements:
- Proven experience managing multiple outlets, ideally including Western, All-Day Dining, and speciality cuisine concepts.
- Previous experience in the pre-opening team is desired.

Minimum 8 years of experience in luxury hospitality, with at least 3 years as Executive Sous Chef in a well-established luxury resort brand

Proven track record in maintaining quality, consistency, and cost control across multiple outlets.

Strong culinary versatility with exposure to international cuisines, with the ability to oversee diverse restaurant concepts.

Strong leadership presence with the ability to build, mentor, and inspire a kitchen team.

Strong understanding of lifestyle dining, beach club, or high-energy resort concepts.

Hands-on, adaptable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-expectation environment.

Up-to-date with food trends, presentation, and guest expectations in lifestyle-driven destinations.

Excellent communication skills in English.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and oversee all culinary operations across multiple outlets within the property.

Ensure consistency in food quality, presentation, and service standards across all outlets.

Develop and execute menus aligned with each outlet's concept and the resort's positioning.

Monitor and control food costs, inventory, and kitchen operations efficiency.

Manage, train, and lead the kitchen team to maintain strong performance and discipline.

Collaborate with management on concept development and guest experience strategies.

Maintain strict hygiene, safety, and compliance standards.

Stay updated with global culinary trends to ensure the offering remains competitive.

Support pre-opening or concept refinement initiatives, if applicable.
- Act as a key contributor to the resort's overall guest experience and brand positioning.
- Collaborate closely with the front-of-house team to ensure smooth communication and a seamless dining experience for guests.
- Ensure the kitchen is maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness, organization, and compliance with food safety and health regulations.
- Stay updated with industry trends, to continuously innovate the menu and enhance the overall guest experience.
