Our client is a pre-opening lifestyle and boutique luxury 5* resort located in Phuket, Thailand, designed to capture the island's vibrant energy, surf culture, and iconic sunsets. The property will offer a highly curated guest experience that blends contemporary luxury with a relaxed, experiential atmosphere.

They are seeking a dynamic and creative Head of Marketing to lead the development and execution of the resort's marketing and branding strategy ahead of the opening. This role will be responsible for driving brand awareness, managing digital and social media campaigns, overseeing content creation, coordinating PR and partnerships, and supporting commercial initiatives to position the resort as one of Phuket's most sought-after lifestyle destinations.

Requirements:

  • Degree or diploma in Marketing, Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a senior marketing role within lifestyle hotels, luxury hospitality, or premium consumer brands.
  • Proven experience in pre-opening projects, brand launches, and integrated campaign execution.
  • Strong understanding of lifestyle branding and experiential marketing.
  • Solid expertise in digital marketing, social media, content creation, and brand strategy.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze campaign performance and optimize marketing ROI.
  • Experience in creating partnerships, collaborations, and events to drive brand visibility and revenue.
  • Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to inspire and manage diverse teams.
  • Proficiency in CMS, CRM, analytics, and reporting tools.
  • Excellent command of English, both written and spoken; Thai language skills are a strong advantage.
  • Creative, detail-oriented, and commercially minded.
  • Highly organised, adaptable, and able to perform effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and peak campaign periods.
  • Prior experience in Southeast Asia or the Thai market is highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all marketing operations with a strong focus on brand positioning, market visibility, and commercial performance.
  • Develop and execute the overall marketing strategy in line with the resort's lifestyle identity and brand standards.
  • Lead integrated marketing campaigns across digital, social media, PR, partnerships, and on-property activations.
  • Drive revenue generation across Rooms, Food & Beverage, Spa & Wellness, and Events through targeted marketing initiatives.
  • Create compelling brand storytelling and guest engagement strategies across all communication channels.
  • Manage the resort's digital presence, including website content, social media platforms, online campaigns, and content creation.
  • Build strategic partnerships, collaborations, and events to strengthen brand awareness and attract new audiences.
  • Monitor marketing performance, analyze key metrics, and optimize return on investment (ROI).
  • Manage marketing tools and platforms, including CMS, CRM, analytics, and reporting systems.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing marketing team while fostering a collaborative and creative culture.
  • Balance creativity with data-driven decision-making to deliver measurable business results.
  • Support pre-opening marketing activities, including brand launch campaigns and market positioning initiatives.
