Role Summary: As a Business Development Representative, you will play a key role in identifying new business opportunities and nurturing potential leads. Youll work closely with our marketing and sales teams, driving growth through outbound outreach and proactive lead management. Your efforts will focus on generating qualified leads and ensuring they align with our offerings, enabling a smooth handoff to the sales team for further engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead Generation & Prospecting: Research and actively engage potential clients through cold calling, emailing, and social selling to uncover new opportunities.
- Lead Qualification: Evaluate incoming and outbound leads to determine their suitability for our solutions, and effectively pass them on to sales for closing.
- Pipeline Development: Continuously maintain and manage a pipeline of leads, ensuring consistent follow-up and engagement to nurture prospects over time.
- SMB Sales: Directly manage sales efforts targeting small to medium-sized businesses (under 100 employees) in the APJ/EMEA regions.
- Channel Partnerships: Work on developing partnerships with HubSpot, Microsoft, and Salesforce partner agencies while making outbound cold calls to create new opportunities for collaboration.
- Collaboration & Automation: Work closely with marketing and sales, leveraging CRM and automation tools to improve efficiency and conversion rates.
Qualifications:
- Experience: 2-4 years in business development, sales, or related roles, preferably within the technology or SaaS sectors, with a strong track record in outbound lead generation and partnership building.
- Skills:
- Proficient in cold outreach (calls and emails) and pipeline management.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
- Experience with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and sales automation software.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and in a team setting, especially in a remote work environment.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a relevant field.
